Premiere of the film about the sculptress María Belén Morales on May 18th at TEA (Tenerife Espacio de las Artes).

The movie goes over the work and the life of one of the pioneers in sculpture in Canary Islands; because of her evolution to abstract art, researching on materials and techniques, and because of the fact of being a sculptress during Franco's regime, when not many women dedicated to this subject. An artistic career full of coherence that matured since the 1950s.

Nowadays, 84 years old, María Belén reflects about her work, life and the different periods that she lived, while she keeps working as she always did.
